|The pygmy goats are great entertainment for the children and adults alike; and with our traditional local breed of ruby red devon cattle, sheep, miniature shetland ponies, pigs and rabbits, there is plenty more to keep everyone interested.
Our guests are welcome to help us feed the animals in the morning and bottle feed the young lambs during the spring.
Our 9 acre woodland and nature trail is great for walks, bird spotting, dog walking, tree climbing (and bug collecting!) A small stream provides the boundary and also a home to the wild brown trout and other water dwellers. You can stay on the path or go off the “beaten track”.
For those that enjoy nature at itís best, there is an abundance of natural wildlife and fauna to see and explore. Wild flowers are in every field and along every hedgerow; foxes, squirrels, rabbits, badgers, red deer and roe deer are all a common sight. Hundreds of swallows herald the coming of summer, but throughout the year there are dozens of birds to spot; pheasants, robins, wrens, owls, hawks, wagtails, finches, tits, and many, many more.
With the exclusive use of our fishing lake (residents only), picnic tables and rest areas conveniently located throughout, itís all here, right on your door step.
